Texas High School Football - Lone Star over Wakeland

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) and the visiting Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX), saw Lone Star's football team prevail over Wakeland by a final score of 34-13.

With the win, Lone Star advances its record to 8-0 on the season. The Rangers travel to Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX) to encounter the Trail Blazers in a 5A-1 Region II District 5 bout on Thursday, October 30. The Trail Blazers go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Lebanon Trail lost 48-27 in their recent league bout against Frisco (Frisco, TX)

The Wolverines now own a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sherman for a 5A-1 Region II District 5 contest on Friday, October 31. Wakeland will confront a Bearcats squad coming off a 49-3 league loss to Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 1-6.
