Texas High School Football - Nacogdoches knocked off by Marshall

In Friday's league game, the Marshall Mavericks (Marshall, TX) football team overcame the visiting Nacogdoches Dragons (Nacogdoches, TX), by a tally of 42-28.

In their next game, the Mavericks face the Hallsville Bobcats (Hallsville, TX) in a 5A-2 Region II District 7 outing, on Friday, October 31. Marshall will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Bobcats come into the outing with a 2-6 record after their 13-6 league win over Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX).

With the defeat, Nacogdoches drops to 6-2 on the campaign. The Dragons host Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 5A-2 Region II District 7 outing on Friday, October 31. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 2-6. Mt. Pleasant won 53-3 in their recent league outing against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX)
