    The Port Neches-Groves Indians football squad scored 49 points and limited the host Nederland Bulldogs to 17 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.

    The Indians now sport a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montgomery for a 5A-2 Region II District 8 test on Friday, October 31. Port Neches-Groves will meet a Bears squad coming off a 52-0 league win over West Fork (Kingwood, TX). The Bears record now stands at 7-1.

    With the defeat, Nederland drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Huntsville (Huntsville, TX) to meet the Hornets in a 5A-2 Region II District 8 test on Friday, October 31. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 4-4. Huntsville won 21-14 in their recent league test against Lake Creek (Montgomery, TX)
