Virginia High School Football - Rural Retreat falls to Northwood

The Northwood Panthers felled the host Rural Retreat Indians football team by a score of 32-16 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Honaker Tigers (Honaker, VA) in a Hogoheegee challenge, on Friday, October 31. Northwood will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 4-4 record after their 33-28 league win over Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA).
With the defeat, Rural Retreat drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Holston (Damascus, VA) to meet the Cavaliers in a Hogoheegee test on Thursday, October 30. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 6-2. Holston won 14-6 in their recent league test against Northwood (Saltville, VA)
