In Friday's non-league match, the visiting University Hawks football squad scored a decisive 49-13 triumph over the Preston Knights.

The Hawks (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Morgantown (Morgantown, WV). The Mohigans come into the Two Rivers match with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Morgantown walloped Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV), 45-10, in a league battle.

The Knights now have a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Buckhannon-Upshur for a Big Ten battle on Friday, October 31. Preston will play a Buccaneers team coming off a 35-32 league loss to Lincoln (Shinnston, WV). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-7.
