Louisiana High School Football - St. Thomas More wallops Rayne

The St. Thomas More Cougars walloped the host Rayne Wolves football team by a score of 56-8 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars play the Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA) in a 4A District 4 challenge, on Friday, October 31. St. Thomas More will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Rebels go into the challenge with a 8-0 record after their 64-29 non-league win over East Ascension (Gonzales, LA).

The Wolves (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against North Vermilion (Maurice, LA). The Patriots go into the 4A District 4 challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, North Vermilion was routed by Westgate (New Iberia, LA), 54-3, in a league test.
