California High School Football - St. Ignatius College Preparatory falls to Saint Francis

The Saint Francis Lancers felled the visiting St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats football team by a score of 28-7 in Friday's league challenge.

The Lancers now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory for a West Catholic test on Friday, October 31. Saint Francis will meet a Fightin' Irish squad coming off a 34-29 league win over Valley Christian (San Jose, CA). The Fightin' Irish record now stands at 4-4.

With the defeat, St. Ignatius College Preparatory drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Valley Christian (San Jose, CA) to face the Warriors in a West Catholic challenge on Friday, October 31. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Valley Christian lost 34-29 in their recent league challenge against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA)
