Swampscott Big Blue (Swampscott, MA) followers went home happy Friday as they witnessed their football squad smash the host Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA), 34-0 in a league match.
The Big Blue (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Salem (Salem, MA). The Witches enter the Northeastern - South match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Salem was routed by Winthrop (Winthrop, MA), 23-12, in a league match.
