North Carolina High School Football - Starmount wallops Wilkes Central

October 24, 2025: Wilkesboro, NC 28697

The Starmount Rams football team scored 51 points and limited the host Wilkes Central Eagles to 0 in the Rams league triumph on Friday.

The Rams now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Ashe County for a Mountain Valley 2A/3A/4A outing on Friday, October 31. Starmount will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 34-6 league loss to West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 3-6.

The Eagles (5-4) will now prepare for their game against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Cardinals enter the Mountain Valley 2A/3A/4A outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, East Wilkes trounced Elkin (Elkin, NC), 66-7, in a league outing.
