The West Blocton Tigers were victorious over the host Tarrant Wildcats football team by a score of 14-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers face the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 31. West Blocton will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 42-7 league loss to Corner (Warrior, AL).
The Wildcats (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Helena (Helena, AL). The Huskies enter the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Helena topped Calera (Calera, AL), 39-21, in a league outing.
