The crowd at Friday's league contest between the University School of Jackson Bruins (Jackson, TN) and the visiting Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels (Millington, TN), witnessed University School of Jackson's football squad knock off Tipton-Rosemark Academy by a tally of 17-7.

The Bruins (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Jackson Christian (Jackson, TN). The Eagles go into the Division II-A West bout with a 8-1 record. In their last bout, Jackson Christian overcame First Assembly Christian (Cordova, TN), 38-13, in a league bout.

The Rebels now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Trinity Christian Academy for a Division II-A West bout on Friday, October 31. Tipton-Rosemark Academy will encounter a Lions team coming off a 42-7 non-league win over Donelson Christian Academy (Nashville, TN). The Lions record now stands at 7-2.
