Alabama High School Football - Weaver crushed by Westbrook Christian

October 24, 2025: Weaver, AL 36277

The Westbrook Christian Warriors walloped the host Weaver Bearcats football team by a score of 63-20 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors play the Wellborn Panthers (Anniston, AL) in a 3A Region 6 test, on Friday, October 31. Westbrook Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 5-3 record after their 56-16 league loss to Piedmont (Piedmont, AL).

With the defeat, Weaver drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Pennington (Blountsville, AL) to meet the Tigers in a 3A Region 6 challenge on Friday, October 31. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Pennington lost 34-7 in their recent league challenge against Westbrook Christian (Rainbow City, AL)
