In Friday's non-league outing, the host Mayfield Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Hoosic Valley Hawks.
With the triumph, Mayfield moves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Stillwater (Stillwater, NY) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, October 27. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 16-1. Stillwater won 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Academy of the Holy Names (Albany, NY)
The Hawks now sport a 8-9 record.
