California High School Football - San Mateo loses to Carlmont

Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA), 24-13 in a league battle.

With the win, Carlmont advances its record to 1-6 on the season. The Scots travel to King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA) to play the Knights in a battle on Friday, October 31. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 2-3. King's Academy won 20-19 in their recent league match against Mountain View (Mountain View, CA)

Coming up next, the Bearcats confront the Capuchino Mustangs (San Bruno, CA) in a match, on Friday, October 31. San Mateo will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 2-5 record after their 48-13 league loss to Burlingame (Burlingame, CA).
