The Las Plumas Thunderbirds (Oroville, CA) football tipped the visiting Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA), 39-35 in Friday's league outing.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Gridley for a game on Friday, October 31. Las Plumas will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 69-0 league win over Live Oak (Live Oak, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-1.
