North Carolina High School Soccer - Porter Ridge knocks off Central Academy of Technology & Arts

Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Central Academy of Technology & Arts Cougars (Monroe, NC), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Porter Ridge moves its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Weddington (Matthews, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a Southern Carolina 6A/7A test on Monday, October 27. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 7-9. Weddington lost 2-0 in their recent league outing against Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC)
Next up, the Cougars play the Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 4A/5A outing, on Tuesday, October 28. Central Academy of Technology & Arts will attempt to improve on its 11-10 season record. The Redhawks go into the outing with a 12-6 record after their 9-0 league win over Parkwood (Monroe, NC).
