Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer squad nudge the host Vermont Academy Wildcats (Saxtons River, VT), 2-1 in a non-league outing.
The Mounties (14-0) will now prepare for their outing against St. Andrew's (Barrington, RI). The Saints go into the outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, St. Andrew's was edged by Wheeler (Providence, RI), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Varsity Opponent (, ) in a non-league outing, on Sunday, October 26. Vermont Academy will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record.
