The Brandon Valley Lynx (Brandon, SD) volleyball knocked off the visiting Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD), 2-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Lynx now possess a 20-3 record. They take the field next when they host Spearfish for a AA District 1 match on Saturday, October 25. Brandon Valley will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD). The Spartans record now stands at 16-8.

The Scoopers (7-17) will now prepare for their match against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, SD). The Tigers enter the AA District 1 match with a 23-2 record. In their last match, Harrisburg notched a victory over Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD), 3-0, in a non-league match.
