In Friday's non-league match, the Mercy Bears (Burlingame, CA) volleyball squad tipped the host Capuchino Mustangs (San Bruno, CA), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Bears battle the Sacred Heart Prep Gators (Atherton, CA) in a West Bay - Foothill match, on Tuesday, October 28. Mercy will attempt to move on its 12-15 season record. The Gators enter the match with a 21-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Notre Dame (San Jose, CA).

The Mustangs (22-4) will now prepare for their match against Mills (Millbrae, CA). The Vikings enter the Peninsula - Ocean match with a 16-15 record. In their last match, Mills held off El Camino (South San Francisco, CA), 3-1, in a league match.
