In Friday's non-league match, the Geneva Panthers (Geneva, AL) volleyball squad tipped the visiting St. Michael Catholic Cardinals (Fairhope, AL), by a count of 3-2.
The Panthers now possess a 21-10 record. They play next when they host Orange Beach for a non-league bout on Friday, October 24. Geneva will clash with a Makos team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, AL). The Makos record now stands at 22-18.
The Cardinals (13-17) will now prepare for their match against Cherokee County (Centre, AL). The Warriors enter the non-league match with a 48-9 record. In their last match, Cherokee County held off Alexandria (Alexandria, AL), 3-2, in a non-league bout.
