Colorado High School Volleyball - Gilpin County crushed by Highland

In Friday's league bout, the Highland Huskies (Ault, CO) volleyball team knocked off the host Gilpin County Eagles (Black Hawk, CO), by a margin of 3-0.

The Huskies now possess a 14-7 record. They play next when they travel to Loveland Classical for a non-league bout on Monday, October 27. Highland will clash with a Lions team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Dayspring Christian Academy (Greeley, CO). The Lions record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, Gilpin County drops to 6-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Clear Creek (Evergreen, CO) to clash with the Golddiggers in a 2A/1A Mile High bout on Tuesday, October 28. The Golddiggers come into the bout with a record of 6-12. Clear Creek lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Flatirons Academy (Westminster, CO)
