St. George's Dragons (Middletown, RI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Portsmouth Abbey Ravens (Portsmouth, RI), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, St. George's improves its record to 1-3 on the season. The Dragons host Buckingham Browne & Nichols (Cambridge, MA) to face the Knights in a NEPSAC test on Saturday, October 25. The Knights go into the test with a record of 13-0. Buckingham Browne & Nichols won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Phillips Exeter Academy (Exeter, NH)

The Ravens now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Berwick Academy for a NEPSAC challenge on Saturday, October 25. Portsmouth Abbey will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Pingree (South Hamilton, MA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-8.
