Maryland High School Volleyball - Hammond over Atholton

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Hammond Golden Bears (Columbia, MD) and the host Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD), saw Hammond's volleyball squad beat Atholton by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Hammond upgrades its record to 6-7 on the year. The Golden Bears travel to Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD) to play the Scorpions in a Howard County bout on Thursday, October 27. The Scorpions go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Oakland Mills lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Howard (Ellicott City, MD)

The Raiders now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Our Lady of Good Counsel for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 27.
