The Cherokee Braves volleyball team (Cherokee, NC), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC)

The Raptor (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Sauras come into the non-league challenge with a 10-15 record. In their last challenge, South Stokes defeated Highlands (Highlands, NC), 3-0, in a non-league match.

With the loss, Cherokee drops to 17-9 on the campaign.

This match is a part of the 2022 NCHSAA Volleyball Championships - 1A tournament
