In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Classical Purples volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Mt. Pleasant Kilties.
The Purples (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI). The Mounties come into the State Championship Division - B battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Mount St. Charles Academy lost by Cranston East (Cranston, RI), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Kilties encounter the Providence Country Day Knights (East Providence, RI) in a Division 4 battle, on Thursday, October 27. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to advance on its 10-3 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 16-0 record after their 3-2 league win over Hope (Providence, RI).
