The Appling County Pirates routed the visiting Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers softball squad by a final score of 14-1 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Pirates (18-7) will now prepare for their battle against Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league battle with a 28-3 record. In their last battle, Jeff Davis notched a victory over Rockmart (Rockmart, GA), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
The Chargers now possess a 11-12 record. They play next when they travel to Rockmart for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 26.
