North Carolina High School Football - West Stanly defeated by Anson

October 25, 2024: Wadesboro, NC 28170

The Anson Bearcats were victorious over the visiting West Stanly Colts football team by a score of 38-15 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Bearcats face the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) in a 2A/3A Rocky River challenge, on Friday, November 1. Anson will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 50-7 league win over Parkwood (Monroe, NC).

The Colts (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Monroe (Monroe, NC). The Redhawks enter the 2A/3A Rocky River challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Monroe ran past Piedmont (Monroe, NC), 56-0, in a league challenge.
