North Carolina High School Football - Ledford loses to Asheboro

The Ledford Panthers football team (Thomasville, NC), was topped 51-29 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC)

With the win, Asheboro advances its record to 4-5 on the season. The Blue Comets host Montgomery Central (Troy, NC) to encounter the Timberwolves in a Mid-Piedmont 3A bout on Friday, November 1. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Montgomery Central lost 30-7 in their recent league bout against Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC)

The Panthers now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to North Davidson for a Mid-Piedmont 3A bout on Friday, November 1. Ledford will encounter a Black Knights team coming off a 21-20 league win over Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 3-6.
