Banks Academy Jets (Birmingham, AL) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Hooper Academy Colts (Hope Hull, AL), 57-7 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Banks Academy advances its record to 4-4 on the season.
The Colts now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, November 1. Hooper Academy will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 57-40 league loss to Wilcox Academy (Camden, AL). The Cougars record now stands at 1-8.
