The Bay Springs Bulldogs were victorious over the host Lake Hornets football team by a score of 36-7 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Jefferson Davis County Jaguars (Bassfield, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 31. Bay Springs will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 35-32 league loss to Magee (Magee, MS).
The Hornets (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Scott Central (Forest, MS). The Rebels enter the 2A Region 5 challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Scott Central ran past Newton (Newton, MS), 42-6, in a league challenge.
