Texas High School Football - Gunter prevails Blue Ridge

In Friday's league match, the host Gunter Tigers football squad scored a good 52-21 triumph over the Blue Ridge Tigers.

The Tigers (6-2) will now prepare for their match against S & S Consolidated (Sadler, TX). The Rams come into the 3A-2 Region II District 7 match with a 0-8 record. In their last match, S & S Consolidated was beaten by Bells (Bells, TX), 51-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Tigers meet the Callisburg Wildcats (Gainesville, TX) in a 3A-2 Region II District 7 match, on Friday, November 1. Blue Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 3-5 record after their 54-14 league win over Howe (Howe, TX).
