The Brenham Cubs (Brenham, TX) football were winner over the host Ellison Eagles (Killeen, TX), 50-28 in Friday's league outing.

The Cubs now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host University for a 5A-2 Region III District 10 outing on Friday, November 1. Brenham will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 50-3 league win over Waco (Waco, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, Ellison drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Rudder (Bryan, TX) to clash with the Rangers in a 5A-2 Region III District 10 outing on Thursday, October 31. The Rangers come into the outing with a record of 6-2. Rudder lost 38-34 in their recent league outing against Belton (Belton, TX)
