Virginia High School Football - Buckingham trounces Prince Edward County

In Friday's league match, the visiting Buckingham Knights football squad scored a decisive 47-0 triumph over the Prince Edward County Eagles.

The Knights (7-0) will now prepare for their match against Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA). The Statesmen come into the James River match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Randolph-Henry routed Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA), 46-27, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Eagles meet the Nottoway Cougars (Nottoway, VA) in a James River match, on Friday, November 1. Prince Edward County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 3-4 record after their 42-14 league loss to Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA).
