Alabama High School Football - Cleburne County thwarted by Bullock County

Bullock County Hornets (Union Springs, AL) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Cleburne County Tigers (Heflin, AL), 35-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Bullock County advances its record to 5-4 on the season. The Hornets host Southside (Selma, AL) to play the Panthers in a non-league battle on Friday, November 1. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 7-2. Southside won 56-27 in their recent league battle against Thorsby (Thorsby, AL)

The Tigers now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host White Plains for a 4A Region 6 battle on Friday, November 1. Cleburne County will play a Wildcats team coming off a 46-14 league loss to Anniston (Anniston, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-6.
