The Morristown-Hamblen East Hurricanes edged the host Campbell County Cougars football team by a score of 19-12 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hurricanes face the West Ridge Wolves (Blountville, TN) in a 6A Region 1 challenge, on Thursday, October 31. Morristown-Hamblen East will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Wolves enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 37-14 non-league loss to Tennessee (Bristol, TN).
The Cougars (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, TN). The Wildcats enter the 5A Region 3 challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Oak Ridge held off Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN), 17-7, in a league challenge.
