Caravel Buccaneers (Bear, DE) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Concord Raiders (Wilmington, DE), 42-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Caravel advances its record to 8-0 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE) to play the Seahawks in a 2A District 1 battle on Friday, November 1. The Seahawks go into the battle with a record of 4-4. Delaware Military Academy won 42-0 in their recent league battle against Newark (Newark, DE)
The Raiders now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Delcastle Technical for a 2A District 1 battle on Saturday, November 2. Concord will play a Cougars team coming off a 35-0 league loss to Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE). The Cougars record now stands at 2-6.
