Virginia High School Football - Chatham falls to Dan River

October 25, 2024: Ringgold, VA 24586

The Dan River Wildcats felled the visiting Chatham Cavaliers football team by a score of 53-32 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats play the William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA) in a Dogwood challenge, on Friday, November 1. Dan River will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Generals go into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 50-8 league loss to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA).

The Cavaliers (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Gretna (Gretna, VA). The Hawks go into the Dogwood challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Gretna toppled Nelson County (Lovingston, VA), 38-6, in a league challenge.
