The Church Point Bears felled the visiting Crowley Gent football team by a score of 43-25 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Bears face the Holy Savior Menard Eagles (Alexandria, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 1. Church Point will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 46-7 league loss to Kinder (Kinder, LA).
The Gent (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwest (Opelousas, LA). The Raiders go into the 3A District 4 challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Northwest toppled Mamou (Mamou, LA), 39-6, in a league challenge.
