Corvallis Spartans (Corvallis, OR) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting South Albany Redhawks (Albany, OR), 31-13 in a league battle.

With the win, Corvallis advances its record to 3-5 on the season. The Spartans travel to Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR) to play the Raiders in a 5A Special District 3 battle on Friday, November 1. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 2-6. Crescent Valley lost 50-27 in their recent league battle against Lebanon (Lebanon, OR)

The Redhawks now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host West Albany for a 5A Special District 3 battle on Friday, November 1. South Albany will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 34-20 league win over Dallas (Dallas, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-2.
