Rhode Island High School Football - Mt. Hope smashes Cranston East

October 25, 2024: Cranston, RI 02910

The Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) football trounced the host Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI), 35-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Huskies now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Providence for a Division III outing on Friday, November 1. Mt. Hope will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 44-28 non-league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, RI). The Cougars record now stands at 3-3.

With the defeat, Cranston East drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts travel to East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI) to clash with the Avengers in a Division III outing on Friday, November 1. The Avengers come into the outing with a record of 1-6. East Greenwich lost 32-14 in their recent league outing against Rogers (Newport, RI)
