North Carolina High School Football - Huss thwarted by Crest

Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC), 35-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Crest advances its record to 7-1 on the season. The Chargers host Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC) to play the Mountaineers in a Big South 3A battle on Friday, November 1. The Mountaineers go into the battle with a record of 6-2. Kings Mountain won 27-19 in their recent league battle against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC)

The Huskies now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Ashbrook for a Big South 3A battle on Friday, November 1. Huss will play a Greenwave team coming off a 27-19 league loss to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Greenwave record now stands at 7-2.
