In Friday's league match, the visiting Deep Creek Hornets football squad scored a good 42-27 victory over the Great Bridge Wildcats.
The Hornets (4-4) will now prepare for their match against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs enter the Southeastern match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, King's Fork was beaten by Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA), 27-12, in a league match.
