The Dryden Lions football squad scored 38 points and limited the host Oxford Academy/Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton to 20 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lansing for a Section 4 C-2 test on Friday, November 1. Dryden will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 48-0 league loss to Waverly (Waverly, NY). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Oxford Academy/Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The travel to Delaware Academy (Delhi, NY) to meet the Bulldogs in a Section 4 D-1 test on Friday, November 1. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 6-2. Delaware Academy won 50-0 in their recent league test against Harpursville/Afton (Harpursville, NY)
