Alabama High School Football - Locust Fork defeats Glencoe

In Friday's league match, the host Locust Fork Hornets football squad scored a good 55-39 victory over the Glencoe Yellowjackets.

The Hornets (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Saks (Anniston, AL). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region 6 match with a 2-7 record. In their last match, Saks was beaten by Ohatchee (Ohatchee, AL), 49-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Yellowjackets confront the Piedmont Bulldogs (Piedmont, AL) in a 3A Region 6 match, on Friday, November 1. Glencoe will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 9-0 record after their 54-20 league win over Wellborn (Anniston, AL).
