Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV), 34-26 in a league battle.

With the win, Greenbrier East advances its record to 3-5 on the season. The Spartans host Princeton (Princeton, WV) to play the Tigers in a non-league battle on Friday, November 1. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 8-0. Princeton won 48-10 in their recent non-league battle against Independence (Coal City, WV)

The Bobcats now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Liberty for a Coalfield AA battle on Friday, November 1. Summers County will play a Raiders team coming off a 28-18 non-league loss to Midland Trail (Hico, WV). The Raiders record now stands at 2-6.
