Georgia High School Football - Hancock Central defeats Twiggs County

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Hancock Central Bulldogs (Sparta, GA) and the visiting Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA), witnessed Hancock Central's football squad topple Twiggs County by a tally of 44-20.

The Bulldogs (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Glascock County (Gibson, GA). The Panthers enter the A D2 Region 5 contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Glascock County was outscored by Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA), 34-8, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Cobras confront the Wilkinson County Warriors (Irwinton, GA) in a A D2 Region 5 contest, on Friday, November 1. Twiggs County will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record.
