The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Jones Longhorns (Jones, OK) and the host Mount St. Mary Rockets (Oklahoma City, OK), witnessed Jones's football squad wallop Mount St. Mary by a tally of 49-7.

The Longhorns (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Oklahoma Christian (Edmond, OK). The Saints enter the 2A-I District 1 contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Oklahoma Christian crushed Blackwell (Blackwell, OK), 47-8, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Rockets battle the Blackwell Maroons (Blackwell, OK) in a 2A-I District 1 contest, on Friday, November 1. Mount St. Mary will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Maroons enter the contest with a 1-7 record after their 47-8 league loss to Oklahoma Christian (Edmond, OK).
