The Lee Ganders football squad scored 17 points and limited the host Santa Fe Indians to 14 in the Ganders league triumph on Friday.

The Ganders now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lamar Consolidated for a 5A-2 Region III District 9 test on Friday, November 1. Lee will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 45-17 league loss to Texas City (Texas City, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-7.

With the defeat, Santa Fe drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Randle (Richmond, TX) to meet the Lions in a 5A-2 Region III District 9 test on Thursday, October 31. The Lions come into the test with a record of 8-0. Randle won 58-0 in their recent league test against Terry (Rosenberg, TX)
