West Virginia High School Football - Lincoln tops Liberty

October 25, 2024: Clarksburg, WV 26301

The Lincoln Cougars football squad scored 48 points and limited the host Liberty Mountaineers to 35 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Philip Barbour for a Big Ten test on Friday, November 1. Lincoln will meet a Colts squad coming off a 40-0 league win over Lewis County (Weston, WV). The Colts record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, Liberty drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to North Marion (Farmington, WV) to meet the Huskies in a Big Ten test on Friday, November 8. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 6-2.
