The Picayune Maroon Tide bounced the visiting Long Beach Bearcats football squad by a tally of 49-7 in Friday's league contest.

The Maroon Tide (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against George County (Lucedale, MS). The Rebels enter the 6A Region 4 contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, George County crushed West Harrison (Gulfport, MS), 68-49, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Bearcats battle the Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) in a 6A Region 4 contest, on Friday, November 1. Long Beach will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 2-7 record after their 42-27 league loss to Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS).
